I was looking at my (small) blog that probably no one reads but it doesnt matter because I am only writing it for myself.
I came accross this post from two months ago stating my target weight was 107lbs. I can't believe this, I must be sloqly moving my target weight lower without me realising. My weight a couple of days ago was 107lb, so I reached my target. But I'm not happy with that. I want to be 100lbs.
My lowest weight was 103.6lb. Ah.
I will get there. 100lbs. I will I will I will I will I will.
I'm going to think of a treat for myself for when I get there. 17th Feb - 3rd April, lent 2010. I have this long to get to 102lbs. Then I will eat just fruit and vegetables for two days to get to 100lbs. And then I will celebrate.
I will look good in a bikini this summer. I will be able to buy size 8 skirts and look good in them for 6th form.

What have I become?
Eating the soft bits out of the fresh bread from Greggs I thought to myself, standing there in the kitchen, what have I become?
Always thinking about what I have eaten in the day, feeling too fat, letting it distract me from every day life, getting jealous of people who say no to food or are thinner. I need to sort myself out.
On Wednesday morning I am going to start a new blog, "Skinny Girl".
I am going to motivate myself and stop feeling sorry for myself. No excuses, I just have to be strong.

Why The Climb?
This all began while I was sitting in my ICT GCSE today. I finished in the first 20 minutes of an hour exam, so I had a lot of time to just think. That was when I decided I wanted to write a blog, to share my thoughts to the world.
I thought of names and eventually settled with 'route 17'. I don't know why. I have always liked the number 17, and I wanted something that would suggest a journey, because that's what life is. So route 17 was good. It was when I was sitting on the bus on the way home that I questioned it. And walking down the road on the way home, 'The Climb' by Miley Cyrus boomed on my ipod. And I was decided.
Take away all the Disney hype and some of the cheesyness, the song is extremely inspirational and the words are brilliant. The url is 'the climb 17' because some random spanish person had already taken theclimb. But at least I got to incorperate my favourite number!
So that is how the name came to be.
The Climb Lyrics
I can almost see it
That dream I’m dreaming but
There’s a voice inside my head sayin,
You’ll never reach it,
Every step I’m taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my head held high
There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb
The struggles I’m facing,
The chances I’m taking
Sometimes they knock me down but
No I’m not breaking
The pain I’m knowing
But these are the moments that
I’m going to remember most yeah
Just got to keep going
And I,
I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on,
There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb
There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb
Keep on moving
Keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It’s all about
It’s all about
The climb
Keep the faith
Keep your faith

THE CLIMB 17
It's not like I've never done this before. First posts are always pretty boring, so let me just give you a quick insight into why I've started this blog.
When I finished primary school in year 6 my teacher who we were all very close to wrote each student in my year of 30 pupils, a letter. One of the things she put in mine was "don't stop writing L, you'll make your millions!" So since, every now and then I've written a few poems, and even a short story which I got published in a national magazine. I keep a diary and write in it every few weeks to keep an update, but I never feel like I'm getting anywhere. I want to tell people things, spread messages, my thoughts. Not keep it all hidden away behind my bed with a key. So that is why a blog is a good idea.
I was into web designing a few years back and started a blog which followed on from that. I got a domain and everything but stupidly told my friends who made fun of it. So I deleted everthing and stopped. That is why I am keeping my name as 'L'. I was going to make up a new one but I couldnt think of one, so just L is fine for now. I thought I could make a new start with this blog and hopefully it will inspire people.
I don't expect many people to be reading this. Seeing as it is a completely unknown blog at the moement. But hopefully I can get into the world of blogging again and find some new blogs that will inspire me, too.
So if you are reading this, just drop a comment to say hi. I would really appreciate that.
